Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in the paving industry, we realised that the investment our clients made in their driveways, patio’s, pool surrounds, business and homes was substantial and although the workmanship is guaranteed, there was nothing being done about protecting or guaranteeing the bricks, natural stone, porous tiles, natural walling etc. Our search, for a manufacturer who had a brick paver sealer which would protect all stone products, began. After various initial trials and thankfully few errors, we found a manufacturer whom we worked closely with and whose product not only seals but enhances and protects all stone surfaces making maintenance virtually hassle-free. How we do it
DEEP CLEANING
The Sealing Company is able to deep clean surfaces with an industrial scrubbing machine using water and specialised hard or soft brushes based on the surface and severity of dirt. Deep cleaning surfaces are achieved by manually scraping and brushing any excess dirt, paint, grime or cement which our brick paver cleaning machines might have missed. Depending on the resistance of the dirt we may at times need to apply a bio-friendly soap (in extreme conditions) but will not affect the deep cleaning cost. The newly cleaned surface must be left to dry for +/- 2 hours weather permitting.
STRIPPING OF SEALER
The Sealing Company is often required to strip a surface that has been incorrectly sealed by a 3rd party with a below standard or inferior brick sealing product. This process is not only manually intensive but requires The Sealing Company to utilise highly abrasive brick paver cleaning products and certain chemicals in most instances. As most brick sealing products are simulated and manufactured one must be weary not to strip the existing sealing product too rigorously as this may lead to over scrubbing. Fortunately, The Sealing Company with many years of experience has mastered the art of this trade and masterfully brings scarred surfaces back to life.
COLOUR ENHANCING BRICK SEALER APPLICATION
After the brick paver deep cleaning process is complete and The Sealing Company is confident all excess dirt has been removed, we will then start applying the first coat of brick paver sealer once the surface is dry. The product is applied using a specially designed air spray gun to guard against streak marks and sealer pooling. Once the first brick sealer coat has been left to air-dry [approximately 45 minutes] The Sealing Company can then start applying the second coat. The second sealing coat is mixed with a specialized tint that does not react with the brick sealant in any way other than to enhance the existing colour and better the appearance drastically.
APPLICATION OF ANTI-SLIP SEALER TREATMENT
After the brick paver deep cleaning process is complete and The Sealing Company is confident all excess dirt has been removed, we will then start applying the anti-slip treatment. The anti-slip treatment is applied using a pump spray. The anti-slip treatment is left on the applied surface for roughly 5 – 10 minutes to etch the surface [dependant on the surface being treated] before rinsing off with water
APPLICATION SEALER
Once the desired surface has been left to dry and The Sealing Company is confident that the excess dirt has been removed, we will then start applying the first coat of paver sealer. The brick sealer is applied using a specially designed air spray gun to guard against streak marks and product pooling. Once the first brick sealer coat has been left to air-dry [approximately 45 minutes] The Sealing Company can then start applying the second paver sealer coat.
